Agents of Change power list: nominate now

Real men are just as bothered by the glass ceiling as women. This is for the chaps who are standing up for equality.

Each year, Management Today runs Inspiring Women events to encourage Britain’s young female business talent, to provide practical tips on reaching the top and to promote gender equality at work. And each year, we look around the room and think ‘where are all the men’?

Men created the system. They (largely) run the system. Men need to help change the system.

In the UK, women still earn 18% less than their male colleagues – and will have to wait until 2069 for pay parity. Men are still 40% more likely than women to be promoted into senior management roles. And there are still only six (soon-to-be seven) female CEOs in the FTSE 100.

We want to end gender inequality – and we want everyone to be involved.

That’s why Management Today has teamed up with the Women’s Business Council to launch an Agents of Change power list. We want to shine the spotlight on the army of male leaders who are fighting women’s corner and driving gender equality initiatives. We know you’re out there – and we want to share your great work.

'We can’t achieve equality in the workplace without involving men. Our Agents of Change powerlist will showcase those pioneering business leaders who are shattering glass ceilings and nurturing the female talent of tomorrow,' says Cilla Snowball, president of the Women's Business Council and group chair of advertising giant AMV BBDO.

If you're an Agent of Change, or if you'd like to nominate a male boss, colleague or friend, please fill in the form below – the closing date for entries is 11 January, 2017. Our power list will be published in Management Today next March.

Because gender equality is everyone's business. #AgentsofChange
