Aberdeen-based Craig Group made a healthy £17.2m profit on record sales of £146.7m in 2012-13. Craig, grandson of the founder, joined the business in 1976. Over a period of 15 years from the mid 1970s, the Craig fleet gradually converted from fishing to standby vessels and oil support operations in the North Sea.
