Exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of this year's '35 Women Under 35' photo-shoot

The 2008 MT '35 Women Under 35' list in association with Microsoft, which was announced in MT and the Sunday Times this weekend, identifies our next generation of female talent: from computer gaming, to broadcasting and high finance.

This year, inventor Tanya Budd became the youngest ever entrant, at just 20 years old. The average age of the women on the 2008 list is just 31, and several belong unmistakably in the ‘Generation Y’ category; this is obvious not just from their attitude to work (all share a serious passion for their vocation) but also in the areas in which they're excelling, like mobile technology, web 2.0 and social and environmental enterprises.

They all like to take a risk too, with many choosing to relax in their free time by running marathons, racing boats or flying helicopters. (Makes us feel tired just thinking about it)

We'll be celebrating the launch of this year’s list on Thursday at a reception for the 35 women, who will be addressed by Debbie Moore, founder of Pineapple Dance Studios and the first woman ever to float a company on the London Stock Exchange.
