PROFILE: With origins dating back to 1865, Oxford Brookes is one of today's modern universities with consistently high ratings in the national press. In 2002 it ranked as a 'first division' university in the Daily Telegraph, 12th for Business in the Guardian and was awarded maximum marks for teaching quality in Business and Economics Management by the QAA. The business school is the largest school within the university, with established postgraduate MBA and Masters programmes, including an innovative tutor-supported online MBA, attracting students from more than 50 countries. In December, its flourishing Enterprise Centre opens the new O'Regan Centre dedicated to the encouragement of potential entrepreneurs.

AREAS OF SPECIALISATION: In collaboration with ACCA, the world's largest professional accounting body, it offers finance professionals an accelerated e-learning MBA. Specialist MBAs in Entrepreneurship, Information Technology Management, Marketing and Publishing are available in full-time or executive mode. Masters programmes include HRM, International Management and Business and Enterprise.

RECENT CLIENTS: Consultancy clients include: British Council, NHS, DTI, Paper Federation, Oxford City Council, SEEDA and Daniels Health Care. Working partnerships include Warwick University for entrepreneurship projects, the Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore) and over 100 employers for student work placement.
