In the fourth interview of MT's Risky Business Week, Nomura's David Benson explains how bankers' risk-taking behaviour, which many blamed for the worst financial crisis in 50 years, derived from the incorrect incentives they were offered by their employers.

But while banks might have got themselves out of the worst of the recession, Benson points out that they have yet to win back the hearts of the general public. 'I don't think we have done a good job at articulating the benefits of financial services', he says. Which may be the industry's toughest challenge yet...
