Another top 10 placing for BG Group, which under Chapman has become a leading light in extracting, manufacturing and shipping liquefied natural gas.

These operations contributed the lion's share of BG's better than 20% Q3 rises in both revenues and profits. His latest project is a £9.3bn gas plant in Australia, which will be the world's first LNG plant to use coalseam gasification technology.
