Encyclopedia Britannica boss says, 'It's the end of an era'
Quote of the day: 'It is the end of [240 years of publishing history], but I don't think it's sad, because it's responding to what people want and the way people want to receive their information.' Ian Grant, chief exec of Encyclopedia Britannica, is sanguine about closing the print version of the iconic publication. 'This print set will be the last set that is available so when that runs out we're not going to print another one,' he says.
