Welcome to the Wearables at Work Awards

Wearable technology is no longer a fad, it’s a reality. Sales of slick consumer gadgets like smart watches and fitness trackers are rocketing and that’s just the beginning, because where consumers lead today, businesses and employers now quickly follow.

Here at MT we reckon it’s time to wake up to the scale of this opportunity. So we’ve teamed up with our friends, PA Consulting Group, to offer a brand new award scheme, the Wearables at Work Awards, aimed at recognising the best and brightest business uses of wearable technology.

The Wearables at Work team is looking for firms across a range of sectors and industries that have deployed wearable technologies or pilot schemes which meet three crucial criteria:

  • Innovation
  • Impact
  • Scalability

This scheme is not just about the usual suspects. We want to hear about applications of wearables in business that are really making a difference, even if they are below most people’s radar. From helping employees to operate more effectively, through innovative new healthcare applications, to the whole gamut of ways in which wearables will revolutionise the way we serve customers and solve apparently insuperable industry problems.

So whether it’s financial services or life sciences, government, energy and utilities, healthcare or transport, if your business is pioneering the use of wearable technology we want to hear from you.

Whats in it for you?

Companies shortlisted appear on managementtoday.co.uk where readers get the chance to choose their favourite use of wearable technology.

The winners appear online and in a special feature in Management Today, Britain’s biggest monthly business magazine. That's 150,000 of the most grown-up readers around, waiting to find out all about your business.
