What qualities do leaders need in these uncertain times?

The current economic and political climate is highly unpredictable, so how can businesses best proceed? MT joined forces with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) to bring together some of the brightest business minds and ask them to share their ideas and strategies.

Margaret Heffernan is an international businesswoman who has been CEO of five firms. She thinks that today's leaders need to be constantly questioning the status quo and learning from their colleagues and customers.

Meanwhile Shelley Frost, executive director of policy at IOSH, thinks this uncertain climate is a great opportunity for leaders to set the tone of the business – and that they also need to embody this culture themselves.
