I'm having a problem with some members of my department who are good at their jobs but very laddish in their behaviour and generally irresponsible in their attitude towards the company. Is there anything I can do to change things?

MY TEAM ARE RESISTING ROLE-CHANGEs. I manage a small team of four people. They were all new recruits 18 months ago, and over that period we've discovered where each person's strengths and weaknesses lie. I'm now trying to re-allocate certain roles among them, according to who is best at each task.
