Six of the UK's coolest offices

Confession booth meeting rooms, fake blue skies and a slide down to the office bar. Jealous, us?

Red Bull’s ping pong meeting tables, Moshi Monsters’ tree house and the library and park benches in Innocent Drinks’ Fruit Towers’ hq – the offices that have appeared on previous listicles compiled by job search site Adzuna prove Silicon Valley doesn’t have a monopoly on uber-cool offices.

And here for your delectation is your yearly dose of workplace porn (although Edinburgh is the only non-London office represented – more regional diversity next year please).

1. Splunk

There’s custom graffiti galore in Splunk’s Morgan Lovell-designed offices. The big data software company’s London base also has a vintage train carriage meeting room. As you do.

2. Bold Rocket

Bold Rocket, part of global technology consultancy Capco, is clearly trying to embody its name in its Shoreditch office. To infinity and beyond indeed.

3. Virgin Money

Scotland isn’t known for its year-round sunshine, so Virgin Money has come up with a somewhat novel solution – a blue sky in its Edinburgh office. There’s also lots of rich red: trying to warm staff up when the snows hit north of border, praps?

4. LivingSocial

Office bar? Check. Games for staff to play (whoever said work was actually work…)? Check. Deck chair chillout area? Check. The online marketplace for stuff to see, buy and do has got all the so-hip-it-hurts office bases covered.

5. Ticketmaster

They’ve got a ticket to ride. Down the office slide. To the bar.

6. Wieden + Kennedy

As Adzuna put it, the best ideas at ad agency Wieden + Kennedy come from thinking inside the box. MT wonders if the church confession booths-turned-meeting rooms have ears…
