Prince William flexed his trading muscles yesterday as he broke the record for the largest foreign currency trade while taking part in an ICAP fancy-dress charity day.

The second-in-line to the throne joined his father and a host of other celebrities which included Daniel Craig, to help out at interdealer broker Icap’s annual charity day.

Wills completed the €17bn deal between Barclays and Credit Suisse – the largest voice-brokered FX trade ever undertaken – while juggling two handsets. 'I’ve got Batman and Robin standing either side of me,' he joked.
