Coaching Through Effective Feedback

Paul J Jerome, Kogan Page

£9.99

A garish design confuses rather than enlightens the reader, and the worksheet-style pages are more reminiscent of the classroom than the workplace. A well-intentioned but ultimately simplistic book. (Of minor interest)

Coaching For Performance

John Whitmore, Nicholas Brealey

£10.99

The author's personal tone and straightforward language make a persuasive case for coaching as a legitimate management approach. Whitmore asks apparently simple but necessary questions like 'What is performance?' and 'What is reality?' (Could be useful)

Coaching - winning strategies for individuals and teams

Dennis C Kinlaw,

Gower £32.50

A dry but thorough account of coaching, heavy on theory, shorter on the practicals. But this book will at least impress and possibly intimidate any flying visitors to your office with its academic-looking cover and design. At the price, it had better do. (Of minor interest).
