1. Bill Gates hearts Bitcoin.

2. Bank of England MPC member Kristin Forbes got married at the same Bretton Woods hotel where the IMF and World Bank were founded in 1944. Nerdiest wedding ever?

3. RBS has revealed there are ‘previously disclosed uncertainties’ ahead, but not whether it’s employed Donald Rumsfeld in PR.

4. The UK economy shrank 1.2% less than previously thought in the recession, partly thanks to drugs and prostitution.

5. Next is not a fan of Indian summers.

6. Notorious cannabis hound Snoop Dogg/Snoop Lion/Calvin Broadus Jr moderates the r/tree marijuana community on Reddit (which he invested in as part of its $50m funding round this week).

7. Ethnic minorities hold just 6.7% of senior management roles in the UK, despite making up more than 10% of the population.

8. Almost three quarters of London’d £2m-plus properties are flats or terraced houses. So much for mansions…

9. If Beijing hosts the 2022 Winter Olympics, there will be a 120 mile journey (or cross country ski) from the opening ceremony to the skiing events.

10. Sainsbury’s really wants you to spend 50p more (but it would rather you didn’t know about it).
