Secret of my success
Surrounding myself with a fantastic team I trust. They get on with their jobs and I concentrate on strategy. It's the only way to grow.

My biggest career lesson
Learning to delegate and trust other people. Five years ago, when I was six months pregnant, I was attacked and the guy left me with a broken leg and finger. I was so freaked out, I wouldn't have been up to leaving the house. This was a turning-point, because I was forced to let my team do their jobs.

My best piece of advice
Do something in a market you know really well - and one you absolutely love. It will mean that when those hurdles come along - and they will - you will vault them easily.
