If you want dollar, work for a tech company. In the US, Google pays the most and Goldman Sachs is the only bank.

The best-paying companies in the US are not banks, but tech companies. Ten companies make the top 20 of a list ranked by the median pay of experienced staff, 12 if you count eBay and Amazon. Seems like the centre of the world really has moved from Manhattan, New York to Mountain View, California, although it is worth pointing out that top bankers are still paid silly money while tech companies spread the largesse more equally.

Asset manager Blackrock comes in at number eight, above the big bad daddy of investment banks, Goldman Sachs. There are also two pharmaceuticals, two oil companies, an energy firm and Mastercard on the list, compiled by Business Insider.
