BULLY IN SIGHT; Tim Field; Success Unlimited Books; pounds 14.95

A superbly comprehensive book from an author who has spent 20 years studying the subject. It covers all aspects of the bullying psychology and offers numerous coping mechanisms for victims. A more authoritative book would be hard to find. ***

DEALING WITH BULLYING AT WORK; Ruth Wheatley; Hodder & Stoughton; pounds 6.99

A basic guide to identifying and dealing with bullies, aimed at the manager as well as the victim. It explains the behaviours that constitute bullying and harassment, and offers a brief description of the legal recourses available to victims of either. A helpful, if short, read. **

BULLYING IN THE WORKPLACE; Elaine Douglas; Gower pounds 85

This book is billed as a toolkit, and as such offers questionnaires and techniques to help deal with bullying. It's really for the use of HR departments rather than individuals, which probably explains the hefty price tag. Worth buying (on expenses) if you need to develop an anti-bullying policy for your workplace.**
