The Los Cabos Country Club is at the peak of the Baja California peninsula, Mexico. The weather is consistently good - not too hot, not too humid - and it's near Los Angeles, so we can visit my daughter.

Some better-known Mexican resorts are crowded and not genuine, but Los Cabos is melted into Mexican nature. Rather than a high-rise, it's like a group of Mexican cabanas. There's a superb 18-hole golf course (I'm not a very good golfer but very keen) and water sports such as paragliding and diving. There's a round pool and an excellent gym and spa - I function much better after my regular dose of exercise! And I go whale-watching, which is sensational - one of best places in the world for it.
