Do you know someone who's impulsive, interrupts non-stop, does three things at a time, flies off the handle, and fails to deliver on time?

Is he/she bored easily with admin tasks, selfish and immature? Adult attention deficit disorder is increasingly being diagnosed in those who have problems setting schedules and deadlines, or frequently change jobs and relationships.

They're often highly creative, exciting and motivated too. Allocating tasks with close supervision or setting exercise regimes to curb restlessness can help, as can Ritalin, given to hyperactive children - although the creative, impulsive individual can become a dull automaton when treated.
