The Dublin-based bookies’ colourful betting shops have become a familiar sight all over the country, but it has been no slouch in applying new technology. Paddy Power was one of the first in its sector to offer an iPhone app, and has invested heavily in marketing its mobile services. Online users are up by 42%, accounting for 81% of operating profits.
