SMEs are very much the cornerstone of the UK economy. Together, they account for half of private sector employment and more than a third of private-sector turnover. The 5.4 million SMEs in the UK employ 25.9 million people, and have a combined turnover of more than £3,700 billion.
It’s not uncommon to hear that UK economic recovery and growth is dependent on the success and prosperity of UK SMEs. However, running and growing an SME is demanding. Finding opportunities for growth and expansion is challenging, while day-to-day activities can be a distraction.
This one-day seminar is focused exclusively on SMEs and the challenges you face. We will hear first-hand from Sahar Hashemi, co-founder of Coffee Republic, on how she grew her SME into a successful player on the UK high street. In addition, the event will address a number of other topics, including:
• How to raise funding and finance to grow your business
• How software and technology can deliver efficiencies to the day-to-day running of your company
• How to spread the word
• Strategies for growth
What’s more, this event will provide a host of networking opportunities, as we bring together a multitude of key players in the SME space to discuss their challenges and solutions.
