START EACH DAY with a quick result - something that is undemanding and can be speedily completed.

DIVIDE ROUTINE TASKS into three lists - stimulating, OK and boring. When planning your day make sure boring tasks are followed by stimulating ones.

MAINTAIN HIGH ENERGY LEVELS - take breaks to loosen tense muscles and refresh your mind. A quick march on the spot or a couple of stretches every hour is all that is needed.

RE-VAMP YOUR OFFICE - throw out cosy clutter and treat yourself to a new office 'toy' to make you more organised.

BAN HEAVY LUNCHES - graze on nutritious snacks instead, and use your mid-break for uplifting or relaxing activities.
