Physics graduate Guerra set up co-working provider Runway East in 2014 after realising that many shared workspaces don’t deliver on their promise to provide not only office space but also genuine networking opportunities for the start-ups which use them. With three London locations (plus a Bristol one in the offing) and over 1,000 members, Runway East’s revenues are now in excess of £5m. Guerra’s customers have secured backing of over £210m in total and include Laserlight bike-light creator Blaze, Blockchain software outfit ConsenSys and online estate agent eMoov.
