You can now play Tetris on a t-shirt (VIDEO)

It's the ultimate in wearable technology: everyone's favourite video game on your stomach.

In a happy twist of irony, wearable technology – which has been the ‘next big thing’ for what seems like forever – has gone retro and you can now play Tetris on your t-shirt.

In honour of its 30th birthday, the arcade game was built into a white t-shirt with 128 LEDs, 4 AA batteries and a circuit board by Marc Kerger, a Luxembourgish industrial designer (who, in the ‘About Me’ section of his website writes rather confusingly, 'Well what do you want to know about me?... This is very private stuff so leave now.’).

It’s not the first time Tetris has been played outside of a Nintendo 64 – earlier this year a 29-storey skyscraper in Philadelphia played host to a game, after a team of computer scientists hacked into the building’s lighting system for the city’s Tech Week.

Check out the Tetris t-shirt (or as Techcrunch suggests: t-tris or chestris) in this video. As it has no sound, MT suggests you play the theme tune below at the same time.
