Premier League footballers' wages have risen 23% since last year

You don’t need to take a trip through Cheshire or Chelsea to realise top footballers have more money than they know what to do with (other than spend it on gold-plated football boots and spray tans).
 
If you need proof though, these figures from Deloitte’s latest report into footballing finance tell you all you need to know: there may be record amounts of cash in the beautiful game, but most of it is going on pumping up players’ egos.
