How to make an impact, with Family Guy, Monty Python and Best in Show.

Play up your strengths. Find what makes you unique, and create a buzz. Family Guy's Peter takes that idea literally, turns his static electricity into a superhero, and expertly draws people into his world by getting them thinking.

Get a reputation. In Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Knights Who Say Ni are so feared that they have everyone cowering just at the sound of their name. And all they want is a shrubbery. Best not to inspire such fear in colleagues or customers, but having such a strong reputation can't do any harm in business.

If you've got a brand that you're trying to promote, the ideal is getting to the stage where it becomes central to people's lives. You may not want to spend too long with this couple from Best In Show, but from their devotion to Starbucks you can hear the tills ringing.
