Branson and Oliver plan to cook up a storm at the 'Screw Business As Usual' Summit.

The Summit, which will take place at Oliver’s ‘Fifteen London’ restaurant on 14 May, will be attended by a selection of top business leaders who will speak on the ‘Screw Business As Usual’ theme. The theme (which is remarkably similar to MT's strapline: 'Not just business as usual') refers to disrupting established businesses with new and innovative business models that can deliver better products or services.

The event will take place partly to raise awareness of the duo’s respective entrepreneurship foundations: Virgin Unite, and the Jamie Oliver foundation. The two foundations support initiatives that create jobs for young people, and proceeds from ticket sales from the event will be channelled through the charities.

Attendees can enter a competition to win a ‘Connection Trip’ to South Africa with Branson. The winner will visit Branson’s private game reserve, UIusaba, and share ideas with other young entrepreneurs at the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship. Spending time chatting about your business ideas to a billionaire? Better than a soggy canape at your local networking wheeze.

If you want to get a ticket for the Summit though, they’re £2,500. So if you haven’t started saving yet, this might be slightly out of your price range. But if anyone can pick up a doggie bag of food cooked by both Branson and Oliver, we reckon you could probably make a fortune on eBay…
