Virgin Media's campaign was all about a new idea of home. It's a 'place to live', but it's also where you consume electronic entertainment.

And if you have Virgin's high-speed broadband and multichannel HD TV, home can be 'more exciting'. The slogan was introduced in February as part of the campaign by ad agency DDB London. The tv and cinema commercials countered the traditional idea of technology as a solitary, isolating phenomenon that destroys family life. The ads peeped through windows at people in their homes, having fun, watching TV, playing games, dancing and so on. Thus, technology creates a new place to live, but it is also a place that, through communication, maintains the values of love and family.
