A few years ago MT went to a conference where it had to sit through a children's choir singing a medley of Boomtown Rats songs - but that's not a patch on this. Delegates at the 2014 Social Media Marketing World Convention - where tickets cost $1,300 apiece - had to sit through a song called 'Let's Get Social', sung by a lady called Mary McCoy.

The irony is, of course, that the video has had nearly 80,000 views - making it a pretty successful example of social media marketing. Sooo meta...
