The number of followers Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has on Google+, beating Google's own co-founders. Ouch.

Google+ may have been dubbed Google’s ‘Facebook killer’, but if the relative popularity of the two firms’ founders are anything to go by, it’s not doing very well so far. In fact, according to figures, the person on the new social network with the most followers is, er, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg.

The Zuck has apparently consistently topped the popularity rankings since he joined the site soon after it launched two weeks ago; and with the number currently standing at more than 184,000 it’s more than Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin’s follower count put together. Saying that, earlier this week Zuckerberg fell off the most-popular ranking altogether as he increased his privacy settings, making it impossible to see who was following him. A little ironic, perhaps, given the controversy over Facebook’s own lax approach to privacy…
