Are you suffering from: Wealth Fatigue Syndrome
The Aston Martin has a six-month waiting list, so you sign up and pay out only to find that after three weeks of ownership, the engine makes too much noise and the new Audi looks better. Making money is never dull, but the spending of it gets old fast. Wealth Fatigue Syndrome affects those with too much leisure time who confuse spending with doing. Rather than build another company, they build another house. Typical sufferers put their fortune aside when they were earning it, but find suddenly that the only way to spend the day is to go shopping. Each extravagant purchase gives them a hit, but soon another is required. Acquisitions cease to excite, and pretty soon they're eating pizza out of the box rather than bothering with the £200k German kitchen. Many charities wait for the moment the sufferer wakes up and decides to give it all away, but most keep spending until there is nothing left.
