Enter the 1998 Management Today/Cranfield School of Management Best Factory Awards now.

There are only a few days left until the closing date for the Management Today Best Factory Awards on 3 April. So companies who reckon they have something to shout about - or, indeed, those who are simply interested to see where they stand in relation to their peers - should waste no time in obtaining an entry form.

The Awards, which are run by Management Today in association with Cranfield School of Management, are now in their seventh year and are all about recognising world-class standards of manufacturing excellence in British industry.

This prestige is reflected in the willingness of our sponsors to provide their generous support. Exel Logistics is sponsor of the Best Electronics and Electrical Factory Award. Siemens Business Services is sponsoring the Best Engineering Factory Award, because, says Sonia McLintock, marketing services manager, 'Business success is achieved by organisations which constantly seek to improve the technical excellence of their product life cycle management processes.' International Factors puts its name to the Best Small Factory because managing director Charles Anderson believes the Awards are 'a great opportunity to have your processes and systems audited by a world renowned organisation'. Aremissoft is sponsoring the Best Household and General Products Factory Award. Mike Aston, head of sales and marketing, explains, 'We want to encourage excellence, and there could be no better way to do it than by supporting the Best Factory Awards.'

Entry costs nothing and is open to any UK-based manufacturing plant.
