A pair of City high fliers who have been friends since they were at school together in Blackpool, Husain (pictured right) and Laitung (pictured left) started Humans in Finance in 2016. Using social media to tell the stories of inspirational people in financial services globally, Humans in Finance is a social enterprise which spreads the word about the good that the industry can do, and has gathered 11,000 followers in 18 months. The pair also manage to hold down very serious day jobs as well – Husain as an investment director for Commerzbank and Laitung as senior government corporate finance adviser for DBEIS.
